Fight For Fifteen By: Harry Robles

The "Fight for $15" is movement that includes workers participating in protests across more than 200 U.S. cities. From fast-food workers, adjunct professors, home care workers, child care workers, janitorial workers and to many others. The reason for this movement is that many workers are not able to get on by with rent, food or utilities without government assistance. We walked from San Diego City College, we took the train to SDSU and rallied around the campus. It was beautiful sight seeing over 1,200 come together and fight for the right to live in San Diego without worrying about making next month rent and not eating to save money.
